About Unize

Unize is a social networking website for connecting people of different languages and cultures. The Internet gives us the ability to connect with millions of users around the world. Despite that,we found that it was a pretty lonely place. There are few places that really allow us to connect with the large community that exists.

I first came across this problem during my preparations to visit Asia. My intention was to use the Internet to meet people from all over Asia so as to learn more about their culture. Using such services as MySpace and Skype, I found that it was surprisingly difficult to find those willing to share their language and culture. That lead me to the creation of Unize.

If you're interested in learning about other cultures, if you want to connect with people all over the world, or if you want to share ideas with people from other countries, then Unize is for you. We have lofty goals for this site, but it's worth a shot.
